D28 3D Welding Table with Modular Fixturing System
D28 3D Welding Table with Modular Fixturing System
This is one of the setups we recommend when a customer wants more than just a welding table.
The table uses a D28 modular hole system, so clamps, stops, angle brackets, locating pins and other fixtures can be placed wherever they are needed. When the next job is different, you simply change the setup instead of making another dedicated jig.
That flexibility is probably the biggest reason customers choose this type of table.
We make the table from Q355/S355 steel and CNC machine the working surfaces and holes. For the nitrided version, surface hardness is normally around 550–600 HV, with a nitriding depth of approximately 0.3–0.5 mm. Standard flatness can be controlled to around ±0.1 mm/m².
The table in the photo is shown with a fairly complete fixture setup, but you don’t have to buy everything you see here.
Some workshops only need a few clamps, stops and angle brackets to get started. Others are working with large frames or different parts every week and prefer a much larger fixture set. We can put together the package according to the kind of work you actually do.
Table size can also be changed. We regularly make different sizes rather than expecting every workshop to work with the same table.
If you’re not sure what size or which fixtures you need, send us a photo or drawing of the parts you normally weld. That’s usually the easiest place to start.
